Unfortunately Park Jefferson Speedway has been forced to cancel this Thursdays late model shootout featuring the Corn Belt Clash and the MARS Dirtcar series. The water table continues to be too high, and even though the top of the track has begun drying, the bottom is nothing but gumbo. Park Jefferson Speedway will now push toward opening on June 28 for the first of the Fantastic Five program featuring A-Modifieds, Sport Modifieds, Hobby Stocks, Sport Compacts and Park Jeff Thundercars. Stay tuned to www.parkjeff.com for updates as rain is predicted toward the end of this week. CBC, MARS and Park Jefferson are going to look toward the end of the season to see if a makeup date will work. The CBC and MARS Series will join up Friday night with the MLRA for a big late model show at the I-80 Speedway.
