Julian Buesink Memorial to Pay $25,000 Purse This Weekend at Stateline Speedway
The Julian Buesink Memorial will honor a NASCAR and Stock Car Racing Pioneer on August 16 with a "Twin 25" Lap Special for the Super Late Models. The event will feature a mix of time trials and heat qualifying as well as an invert for the 2nd "Twin 25".
Buesink was a NASCAR Sprint Cup (Grand National) Championship Car owner from Findlay Lake, NY and is noted as being the first multi-car team owner in NASCAR, a trend followed by Hendrick Motorsports, Roush Racing and other multi-car NASCAR teams.
