Austin Hubbard Grabs Georgetown Holiday Cash

Seaford, Delaware (07/05/17) – Austin Hubbard triumphantly returned to action on Sunday night in his Mid-Coastal Siding #11 Trinity Logistics/ Rocket XR1 Chassis/ Cornett Racing Engine Super Late Model as he pocketed a $3,500 payday at Georgetown Speedway.

“We took a couple of weeks off to regroup there, and it really paid off,” said Hubbard. “We had just run into some mechanical bad luck and just needed to refocus. Even with the recent bad luck, I’m enjoying the best season that I’ve had in a long time, and that’s truly because of this awesome team and sponsors that I have this year. I want to thank them all for everything that they do.”

Behind the wheel of the Mid Coastal Siding #11 Super Late Model, Austin Hubbard visited Georgetown Speedway (Georgetown, Delaware) on Sunday night for the third stop of the Independence Day Summer Classic. After leading the night off with a heat race victory, Hubbard picked up his third win of the season in feature along with a $3,500 payday. Ross Robinson, Dale Hollidge, Amanda Whaley, and D.J. Troutman completed the Top-5 finishers.

During the same night in the Crate Late Model ranks, Hubbard reeled in a 5th-place finish in the A-Main, trailing Sparky White, Joey Warren, Cory Lawler, and Matt Glanden across the finish line.
