Daniel Baggerly Starts 2018 Season with Fast Time Award & Feature Win at Clary’s!

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

    April 25, 2018

Daniel Baggerly Starts 2018 Season with Fast Time Award & Feature Win at Clary’s!

(CLARKSVILLE, VIRGINIA) Daniel Baggerly and his #16 team finally lifted the lid to their 2018 racing season and did so in victorious fashion on Saturday night, April 21 at Clary's Motor Speedway in Brinkleyville, North Carolina! Daniel earned Fast Time honors during the Late Model qualifying session and later started the 35-lap weekly main event from the pole position.

After hitting a hole early in the feature distance, Daniel ran in the second position through much of the first twenty circuits. Once he was finally able to put his Longhorn Chassis mount out front of the field, Daniel ran away with the remainder of the caution-free affair to pocket the $1,200 payday ahead of Dustin Moore, Gary Dillon, Brandon Hux, and Mason Price! Full results from the season opener for the B&B Motorsports team can be found online at www.clarysspeedway.com.

“We knew we were close with the car last year, but it feels so good to come out of the box with a victory to start this season,” quoted Baggerly this week. “Without racing a lot and making a number of changes over the winter, combined with personal challenges preventing us from testing, we were not quite sure what we would have when we unloaded at Clary’s with an untested car and driver. All of us were very surprised to look up and see fast time for hot laps followed by qualifying P1. I have to thank all of our sponsors and product supporters, but especially Philip Snellen of Longhorn Chassis and Nick Stine of Penske Shocks for all of their assistance with the car. It led to us unloading with a fast baseline setup requiring only one slight adjustment all night long!”

The next event on the racing calendar for the #16 team will be at County Line Raceway in Elm City, North Carolina on Saturday evening, May 5. The weekly Late Model event in the Tarheel State next weekend will also pay $1,200 to the winner. Additional information on this race can be accessed by logging onto www.countylineracewaync.com.

Daniel would like to thank all of his 2018 sponsors including: En>Compass Solutions, Wythe Raceway, Cashion Fishing Rods, Knabe Power Equipment, Battenbilt Racing Engines, AutismSpeaks.org, Brinn Inc., Delph Communications, FK Rod Ends, Joe’s Racing Products, Penske Shocks, Performance Friction Brakes, Peterson Fluid Systems, RE Suspension, Sweet Mfg., VP Racing Fuels, and Winters Performance.

Keep up with the B&B Motorsports team all year long on their official home on the web, which is located at www.DanielBaggerly.com!
