Big Frog Motorsports Heads to The Hornet’s Nest
Tyler Clem and Donald McIntosh to Pilot Team’s Entries

Ocala, Florida (04/26/18) – This Friday and Saturday Big Frog Motorsports will invade Talladega Short Track – also known as “The Hornet’s Nest” – with both guns blazing.

Georgia’s Donald McIntosh will look to tame the Super Late Model division, while 15-year-old Florida phenom Tyler Clem will hook horns with the Crate Late Model contingent as they compete at the 1/3-mile oval during the annual NASCAR weekend.

“This weekend really has me pumped,” team owner, Augie Burttram said. “Donald (McIntosh) really impressed me in his debut with the team two weeks ago. Now to have him joined by Tyler (Clem) is pretty cool. Seeing Tyler win in everything from Late Models to Sprint Cars to Modifieds in the past year, shows just how talented he is, so I’m hoping to give him some more opportunities as this year progresses.”

For Tyler Clem – who already has two Sprint Car triumphs this year – this is an exciting opportunity.

“Augie (Burttram) and Big Frog Motorsports have been supporters of my racing career in various ways over the past few years, so to finally have the chance to drive one of their cars is really cool. I’ve only run Talladega Short Track a few times before, but I’ve had good runs there so hopefully this will be a big weekend for us.”

This Friday and Saturday Big Frog Motorsports will resume their 2018 campaign with a trip to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama). The team will field an entry for Tyler Clem in the NeSmith Dirt Late Model Series events. On Friday night a $2,000 top prize will be on the line, and on Saturday night a $2,500 winner’s check will be up for grabs.

Meanwhile, Donald McIntosh – who has a win and a pair of runner-up finishes in his first three starts with the team – will be compete in the $2,000-to-win, unsanctioned Super Late Model event on Friday night, and the $4,000-to-win Southern All Star Late Model Series event on Saturday night in a Big Frog Motorsports entry.
