Bryan Bernheisel Sails to Selinsgrove Speedway Checkers
Frank Sagi Tribute at Hagerstown Up Next

Jonestown, Pennsylvania (05/02/18) – For the second time in 2018 Bryan Bernheisel raced his Dieffenbach’s Kettle Chips #119 Russ Gibble Roofing & Siding/ Lazer Chassis Super Late Model to Victory Lane.

His latest triumph came on Saturday night at Pennsylvania’s Selinsgrove Speedway, while his dad, Jim Bernheisel finished third.

“It was a lot of fun running one-two with dad there in the feature,” Bryan commented. “It’s kind of been an all or nothing year for us so far this year. It seems like we are really good or just not where we need to be with no middle ground. However, we’re making solid gains on the car, and our confidence is starting to really build. I definitely would like to thank all of our sponsors, who make it possible for us do this every weekend.”

On Saturday evening Bryan and Jim Bernheisel visited Selinsgrove Speedway (Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania) for a Weekly Racing Series Event.

In a field of 18 Super Late Models, both Bryan and Jim locked their spot into the main event with heat race victories. Receiving the front-row starting spots after the invert, Jim ran second behind Bryan for the majority of the race until slipping late to finish third.

Meanwhile, Bryan jumped into the lead early and led all 25-laps en route to his second win of the season. Gene Knaub, Jim, Hayes Matten, and Brett Schadel completed the Top-5 finishers.

This Saturday, Bernheisel Racing will field two Super Late Model entries in the annual Frank Sagi Tribute at Hagerstown Speedway (Hagerstown, Maryland). Bryan Bernheisel will chase his third win of the season, while Alan Sagi will also drive a team car as he looks to claim a win in the event, which is held in memory of his late father.
