Jake Knowles Stays Red Hot with Smoky Mountain Speedway Sweep
Four Wins in Five Races for Georgia Pilot

Rome, Georgia (06/19/18) – Jake Knowles raced to his fourth win in the past five races on Saturday night with a convincing triumph at Smoky Mountain Speedway in his Knowles Race Parts & Bodies #66 Josh Roberts Trucking/ Longhorn Chassis Late Model.

Knowles completed a clean sweep of the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series program to claim the $3,000 victory. He’s now won four of his last five events.

“Our team is on a roll right now and it feels great,” Knowles commented with a big smile. “The 2017 season was truly a struggle for us, and this year has just been the complete opposite. We’ve won four of our past five events, and if not for a little driver error two weeks ago at Greenville Speedway we could’ve likely been five for five at this point. I couldn’t be more proud right now though, and I just hope that we can keep our hot hand this weekend at Senoia.”

Jake Knowles was one of 17 entries on hand at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) on Saturday night for the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series sanctioned, Big Daddy 500.

Knowles started his night by laying down the fastest time overall in qualifying to earn the pole position for the main event. Jumping o the lead at the drop of the green flag, Jake led every lap en route to his fourth win of the season and a $3,000 paycheck.

Joseph Brown, Chip Brindle, Ronnie Johnson, and Zach Pilcher completed the Top-5 finishers in the 40-lap affair.

Jake sits in second in the Chevy point standings. For full results from this event, please visit www.525SuperSeries.com .

This Saturday will take Knowles and the team to Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia), where he’ll be chasing a possible $5,454 winner’s share in the annual Michael Head Jr. Memorial. The program will be sanctioned by the Southern All Star (SAS) Super Late Model Series.
