Loudon, Tennessee (06/25/18) – Saturday night found Cory Hedgec ock winning the J.T. Kerr Memorial for the third-straight year. The chauffeur of the Cushman #23 Transport One/ XR1 Rocket Chassis Late Model surged to the $4,000 winner’s check at Tennessee’s 411 Motor Speedway.
The win was his 11th of the 2018 season.
“It’s awesome to be able to win this race three years in a row,†Hedgec ock commented. “My team gave me a really fast car, and we were able to lead the whole way. 411 Motor Speedway has been a really good track for me this year, and I can’t wait to get back there.â€
Cory Hedgec ock was one of 32 Crate Late Models on hand at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) on Saturday night for the annual J.T. Kerr Memorial. Registering the fastest time overall in qualifying, Hedgec ock earned the pole position for the A-Main.
Leading flag-to-flag, Cory cruised to his 11th win of the season, which came over Jensen Ford, Ross White, Pierce McCarter, and Greg Martin. He was awarded a $4,000 payday for his dominant performance in the 40-lap affair.

The team is now focused on preparing for the Salute to America Nationals, which will see the Durrence Layne Dirt Late Model Series competing in three events in four days. Action kicks off on Saturday with a $2,500-to-win event at Boyd’s Speedway before shifting to Cochran Motor Speedway on Sunday for a $2,500-to-win event. The busy weekend draws to a close on Tuesday at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama)
