Bryan Bernheisel Scores Another Selinsgrove Speedway Victory
Bridgeport Speedway and Selinsgrove Speedway Up Next
Jonestown, Pennsylvania (07/17/18) – Bryan Bernheisel increased his 2018-win tally to six on Saturday night with a victory at Pennsylvania’s Selinsgrove Speedway behind the wheel of his Dieffenbach’s Kettle Chips #119 Russ Gibble Roofing & Siding/ Lazer Chassis Super Late Model.
The team’s doubleheader weekend opened on Friday evening as Bryan Bernheisel invaded Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pennsylvania) to compete in the 82nd annual Billy Winn Classic. With 39 Super Late Models registered for action, Bernheisel followed up the sixth-fastest time in qualifying with a fourth-place finish in his heat race.
Starting in the 16th-starting position for the $8,200-to-win A-Main, Bryan gained four spots in the 50-lapper to finish 12th.
The following night at Selinsgrove Speedway (Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania) with both Bryan and Jim Bernheisel in action, Bryan locked his spot into the A-Main with a heat race win from the fourth-starting spot.
Starting the feature in the eighth position, Bernheisel blasted into the lead on the high-side on lap-10 and held the top spot for the remaining 15 circuits to capture his sixth win of the season. Brett Schadel, Ken Trevitz, Meade Hahn, and Randy Christine completed the Top-5 finishers in the 25-lap affair.
"The track was really slick tonight, and you could race all over it,†Bryan Benrheisel said. “We got off from where we needed to be a month or so ago here, but our crew chief Brandon (Bernheisel) went back to the basics. With a few little tweaks this car has been awesome ever since.â€
During the same program, Jim Bernheisel improved one spot in his heat to finish fourth. Earning the sixth-starting position for the A-Main, Jim raced in the Top 10 throughout the 25-lapper before notching a sixth-place finish.

On Wednesday night he’ll enter the Three-For-All event at New Jersey’s Bridgeport Speedway, which will be headlined by a $3,000-to-win finale.
