Riley Hickman Claims Alabama State Championship Victory
Tarheel 50 Up Next for Tennessee Racer
Cleveland, Tennessee (09/25/18) – Riley Hickman charged to the $4,000 victory on Sunday evening in the annual Alabama State Championship at East Alabama Motor Speedway behind the wheel of the Competition Racing Equipment #1 Hickman Manufacturing/ Savage Chassis/ Vic Hill Racing Engine Super Late Model.
“Man it feels good to take this new Savage Chassis to Victory Lane,†Hickman commented. “I messed up in qualifying on Saturday, and it just buried us for the feature. On Sunday we had a solid qualifying effort, and then we gambled a little on tires and it all paid off. I want to thank Jason Welshan and everyone who has made this opportunity possible. This Savage Chassis is a really good piece, and hopefully we can grab some more wins in the next few weeks.â€
