Jesse Lowe Scores Crossville Speedway Win and Championship
Talladega Short Track Weekend with Durrence Layne Series Up Next

Crossville, Tennessee (10/09/18) – Jesse Lowe doubled up on Friday night at Crossville Speedway. Not only did he race his Xtreme Pressure Washing #5j Bennett Heating & Cooling Services/ Hampton Backhoe Services/ CVR Race Car Late Model to Victory Lane for the seventh time in 2018, but he also clinched the 2018 Track Championship.

“It’s no big secret that has been a trying year for our team, so to get seven wins and a championship means a lot to us,” Lowe commented. “We had a great night on Friday night, and then on Saturday night we had to fight just to get a transfer spot into the feature. This can be a humbling sport, but I had an absolutely great weekend.”

Jesse Lowe invaded Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tennessee) on Friday evening for the championship night. Reeling in his seventh win of the season in the feature, Lowe topped Christian Hanger, Deke Waters, Michael Smith, and Floyd Turner at the line. Via his performance he also clinched the 2018 Crossville Speedway Track Championship as well.

The following night brought Jesse to Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) for the Durrence Layne Dirt Late Model Series sanctioned, King of the Mountain Fall Classic. In a field of 33 cars, Jesse recorded the 13th-fastest time in his qualifying group, which relegated him to the B-Main. Locking the Top 6 into the show, Lowe edged his way into the finale with a sixth-place finish. With $4,000 on the line, Jesse Lowe improved seven spots in the 50-lap affair to finish 14th.
