Morgan Bagley Notches Top-5 Finish in Deep Fried 75
Spooky 50 on the Docket Next

Longview, Texas (10/18/18) – Saturday night found Morgan Bagley charging through the field in his P&W Sales #14m GottaRace.com / XR1 Rocket Chassis/ Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model to score a fourth-place finish in Duck River Raceway Park’s Deep Fried 75.

“The weekend was definitely an uphill battle for us,” Bagley noted. “We again had generator issues on the hauler, so we had to borrow electrical power. We got into the main event but had to start mid-pack. Luckily, I was able to pick up several spots before the track took rubber around lap 15. Even though we had an even better car than what we showed, we just had to ride in line for the rest of the race. Overall, it was a pretty good weekend or us, when you look at everything we had to overcome.”

Morgan Bagley made the trip to Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tennessee) on Friday night for the seventh annual Deep Fried 75. With 36 Super Late Models on hand for the two-day event, Morgan followed up the seventh-fastest time in his qualifying group with a runner-up finish in his heat race behind Jadon Frame.

Earning the 14th-starting position for the $14,500-to-win A-Main on Saturday night, Bagley picked up several spots early in the finale. He had high hopes for the remainder of the feature, but the track became one-laned before lap 20. As a result, he would settle into the Top-5 in the running order before ultimately crossing the finish line in the fourth position behind Billy Moyer Jr., Riley Hickman, and Victor Lee.

This weekend – October 19-20 – Team 14 will invade Chatham Speedway (Chatham, Louisiana) for the annual Spooky 50. A $2,000-to-win program will be held on Friday night, while Saturday will see a $9,000 winner’s check on the line. The weekend is being sanctioned by the Louisiana Late Model Series.
