Dustin Strand Sweeps Weekend Action to Increase Win Total to 11
River Cities Speedway and Viking Speedway on Deck
Grand Forks, North Dakota (08/27/19) – Dustin Strand streaked to a pair of feature wins in two different divisions over the weekend. He split the victories between his Carr’s Grain Service No. 71 Walhalla Building Center/ Millenium Chassis/ Ben Adams Racing Engine Late Model and his Keewatin Truck Service No. 71 RH Rebel Storage Millenium Chassis Ben Adams Racing Engine Modified.
“Anytime you can win it’s a good weekend, but when you can win in two different divisions it says a lot about your team and how hard they work,†Strand stated. “This coming weekend we’re hoping to continue this momentum. Our early season, bad luck dug us a bit of a hole in points, but we’re hoping for some good luck this weekend as we try to get the River Cities title again as well as the NLRA championship. It’s going to be fun to race three times in three days and see a lot of friends.â€
On Friday night Dustin Strand visited River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota), where he was behind the wheel of his Walhalla Building Center No. 71 Open Wheel Modified. After starting the night with a heat race victory, Strand passed four cars in the 20-lap feature to pick up his 10th win of the season.
