Jeff Taylor Visits Legit Speedway Victory Lane Once Again
Looks To Claim Second IMCA Super Nationals Championship
Cave City, Arkansas (09/03/19) – Jeff Taylor added another victory to the 2019-win tally on Saturday night. The Arkansas traveler charged to the feature triumph at Legit Speedway in his Industrial Electric No. 5 Spur Bar/ Wehrs Machine/ Provence Construction/ Shaw Race Car Modified.
“This was a great tune-up race for the IMCA Super Nationals at Boone,†Taylor said. “This Shaw Race Car is on point, and we showed it at Legit Speedway. We’re focused on heading to Boone this week and picking up a second IMCA Super Nationals title. I’m confident that we have the car to get the job done.â€
Jeff Taylor rolled into Gary Stolba’s Legit Speedway on Saturday evening, where he took part in the Holiday Inn Express IMCA Modified division. With 15 entries on hand, he advanced from the fourth-starting spot in his heat race to claim the win.
Via his heat-race performance, Taylor started in the second position for the feature. He took advantage of the starting spot to score the victory. The triumph was his second of the year at the 3/8-mile oval and his seventh overall.
Robert Powers, Carl Murphy, Keaton Atkinson, and Tony Anglin completed the Top-5 finishers.

This week – September 4-7 – Jeff Taylor Racing and Shaw Race Cars are in action at the annual IMCA Super Nationals at Boone Speedway (Boone, Iowa). Jeff, who was the 2012 Champion of the event is looking for a second title this week, and will be joined in action by his teammate, Travis Mosley.
