Drake Troutman Racing Launches New Cyber Home
Preps Post Speedweeks for Aggressive 2020 Slate
HYNDMAN, P.A. (03/20/20) – Pennsylvania’s Drake Troutman is the newest addition to the MSRmafia.com team with a brand-new website launched at www.DrakeTroutmanRacing.com.
Drake Troutman Racing kicked off his 2020 campaign by making the trek south to compete in nine days of Speedweeks action. The 14-year-old driver’s Florida invasion included eight DIRTcar UMP Modified events in his Smith Transport No. 7 RFI Resources/ Rage Chassis Modified and one night of action in his Smith Transport No. 7 Shaffer Construction/ XR1 Rocket Chassis Super Late Model.
Troutman made two Modified starts at Lake City’s North Florida Speedway on February 1-2, where his best finish was an eighth. His lone Super Late Model Speedweeks start came at the 1/2-mile oval on February 2, where he bagged a seventh-place finish in the $5,000-to-win event.
Drake then embarked on six nights of Modified action in seven days at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) during the 49th annual DIRTcar Nationals. Drake’s best performance against the talent-laden field of 82 entries was a ninth-place finish on February 9.
“It was a tough grind down in Florida racing nightly against many of the best drivers in the business, but I feel like we held our own,†Troutman said. “Right now, we are chomping at the bit to get back to action. We have some great companies supporting us, and I’m looking forward to getting them maximum exposure.â€
The team now turns its focus to a very busy 2020 campaign. Troutman currently has more than 100 nights of racing planned for the 2020 campaign in his Smith Transport No.7 RFI Resource entries.
