Daniel Baggerly Makes Return to Wythe Raceway; Visit to Friendship Next
(KERNESVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA) The B&B Motorsports team returned to the track that started it all - Wythe Raceway - on Saturday evening, July 11, as the Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals Series sanctioned the second event of their annual miniseries at the Rural Retreat, Virginia speedplant and a $10,053 top prize was on the line.
Daniel Baggerly, a former resident of Rural Retreat, timed in ninth fastest in Group B during the qualifying session and later wound up ninth in his loaded heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the ninth row in the 53-lap main event, Daniel's race was unfortunately a short one, as an oil leak caused him to retire in the twentieth finishing position. Full results from the picturesque Wythe Raceway can be viewed online at www.southernnationalsseries.com.
The #16 team will go through their entire oil system this week in preparation of their next event, which will take place next Saturday, July 25 at Friendship Motor Speedway in Elkin, North Carolina. The Blue Ridge Outlaw Late Model Series will roar into Friendship to preside over a $1,200 to win showdown. More information on this race can be accessed by clicking on www.blueridgeolm.com.
Daniel would like to thank all of his 2020 sponsors including: B&B Motorsports, Boatlogix, Caymas Boats, Edwards Construction Company, Cashion Fishing Rods, TeamGreatOutdoors.com, Joe’s Racing Products, Longhorn Chassis, and Bilstein Shocks.
Keep up with the B&B Motorsports team all year long on their official home on the web, which is located at www.DanielBaggerly.com!
