Rod Conley Slated for Weekend Off Following Atomic Speedway Top Five!

(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) The Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) team and driver Rod Conley struck out to Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio and Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio on May 14-15 for a pair of unsanctioned special events. Last Friday night at MRP, Rod ran third in his heat race prior to winding up right where he started in the $5,000 to win A-Main... in the eighth position.

At Atomic on Saturday evening, a $3,000 top prize was up for grabs for the ground pounding Super Late Models. Rod won his heat race in preliminary action and ran as high as second in the 25-lap headliner before slipping to fourth at the checkers behind only race winner Josh Rice, Steve Casebolt, and Austyn Mills! Complete results from the pair of Buckeye State ovals can be viewed online at www.mrpracewaypark.com and www.atomicspeedway.net.

Rod, as well as his father Delmas Conley and brother R.J. Conley, is slated to take the May 21-22 weekend off from racing action. With the nearby Portsmouth Raceway Park scheduled to finally open next weekend and other area tracks racing over the Memorial Day holiday weekend, one or more of the Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) drivers are sure to be in competition. Keep your eye on www.ConleyMotorsportsInc.com to view the latest schedule plans for the entire Conley clan.
