Jensen Ford Announced as Finalist in #FloRacingDream Contest
Asking Fans to Rock The Vote Daily Between Now and May 31
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (05/26/21) – Jensen Ford has enjoyed a career-season so far in his Whitehead Construction Inc. No. 83 Stanco Equipment/ Shoun Trucking/ TNT Race Cars Super Late Model.
Not only did he claim his first Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series win earlier this year in the Rockin’ with the Stars event at Smoky Mountain Speedway, but he’s also become a frequent flyer at the front of the pack in each event that he enters.
Now Ford has his sights set on taking another big step in his career. The Tennessee racer was recently announced as one-of-eight finalists in the #FloRacingDream competition, which will set the top vote getter receiving a coveted sponsorship to compete in the 2021 Dirt Late Model Dream week at Ohio’s Eldora Speedway.
“This year has already seen me achieve some of my dreams and goals, and now I’m honored to be a finalist in the #FloRacingDream competition. I’m just trying to make it in a sport that I love and was born into. We are a small team on a tight budget and winning this contest would give me the chance to compete on one of the biggest stages that our sport has to offer,†Ford shared. “Getting to finally race at Eldora Speedway is definitely on my bucket list, and a little help to get there would make all the difference.â€
The driver, who acquires the most votes in the #FloRacingDream competition, will receive a wide arrange of event sponsorship from FloRacing, including entry fees to both the 26th and 27th Dirt Late Model Dream, free pit passes, a $1,500 Hoosier Tire voucher, $1,000 in fuel, a $500 set of Hooker Harness ratchet belts, 100 custom shirts designed by Race Ranch, and more.

The 27th Dirt Late Model Dream will be contested on June 9-10, while last year’s pandemic-delayed edition is set for June 11-12.
