Joseph Joiner Scores $10,000 Victory in Harvey Jones Memorial at All-Tech
MSCCS Action at Tri-County Speedway on Tap for this Saturday
MILTON, Fla. (06/01/21) – Joseph Joiner raced to his richest victory of the 2021 season on Saturday night during the finale of the Harvey Jones Memorial at All-Tech Raceway.
Leading the final 49 laps of the 60-lap affair, Joiner was rewarded with a $10,000 payday for his winning performance in his Trading Paints No. 10 Langenfelder Mechanical Contractors / Three Trade Consultants/ Law Offices of Cole & Davis/ Capital Race Cars Late Model.
“I got to the lead early, and from there this Capital Race Car drove like a dream. I focused on hitting my marks, and everything else took care of itself and we won by over seven seconds,†Joiner said. “Any time you win it’s special, but to win a $10,000 check in my home state with a lot of friends and family there really meant a lot. I also want to thank all of our awesome fans, who came by to see us throughout the weekend. From our fans to our marketing partners, we’re thankful for everyone, who supports our program.â€
Joseph Joiner invaded All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Fla.) on Friday as the 2021 edition of the Harvey Jones Memorial came to life. With 36 entries on hand for the Crate Racin’ USA sanctioned event, Joseph qualified second-fastest in his group and then won his heat race to earn the third-starting spot for Saturday night’s 60-lap finale.
In Saturday’s feature, Joiner charged past Mark Whitener to take the lead on lap 12 and never looked back en route to the $10,000 victory. He crossed the finish line 7.570 seconds in front of his nearest pursuer.
The triumph marked Joiner’s second of the season.
