Jesse Lowe Claims Career Triumph in Wythe Raceway American All-Star Event
Pockets $5,000 for Dominating Win in Virginia
CROSSVILLE, Tenn. (06/02/21) – Jesse Lowe recorded the richest win of his young career in dominating fashion on Sunday night in American All-Star Series action presented by PPM Racing Products.
From the pole position, Lowe rocketed away from the competition to pick up the $5,000 triumph by more than a three-second advantage in his Duplissey Racing No. D2 A.M.P. Energy / Arp’s Lawn Service / CVR Race Car.
The win marked his second of the season.
“What a dream come true to get to drive this car for Duplissey Racing. I’m just a smalltown boy living the dream,†Lowe said following the richest win of his car, which came Saturday night at Wythe Raceway. “Everything came together, and we were able to sweep the show from qualifying to the dash to the feature. This win is dedicated to my wife, my family, my crew, Duplissey Racing, and everyone who supports this team to make it possible. “
On Saturday afternoon Jesse Lowe was one of 39 American All-Star Series entries on hand at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) for the opening round of the Mayhem in the Mountains. With the fifth-fastest qualifying effort locking him into the Dash, Lowe posted a fifth-place finish. Starting the $3,000-to-win A-Main in fifth, Jesse lost one spot in the 40-lapper to finish sixth.
For the second round of the Mayhem in the Mountains on Sunday at Wythe Raceway (Rural Retreat, Va.), Jesse topped the charts in hot laps and time trials before picking up the Dash victory. Dominating all 50 laps of the feature, Lowe streaked to his second win of the season over Carson Ferguson, Zach Sise, Dillon Brown, and Logan Roberson. He won by more than a three-second margin to pocket $5,000, which marked the richest win of his career.
The following night at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) for the Scott Sexton Memorial, Lowe scored a fourth-place finish in the $2,000-to-win unsanctioned feature. He trailed Rusty Ballenger, Eli Beets, and Matt Henderson to the checkers with Cory Hedge(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) rounding out the Top 5.
