Tyler Stevens Victorious in Dixie 25 at Chatham Speedway
Sweeps Program for $2,500 Triumph
Searcy, Arkansas (06/14/21) – It was back to business and back to winning on Saturday night for Tyler Stevens. The Arkansas traveler claimed the $2,500 winner’s check in Chatham Speedway’s Dixie 25 in his W&W Timber No. 2 Stallion Transportation Group / XR1 Rocket Chassis Crate Late Model.
The victory was his sixth of the 2021 campaign.
“It was a long and hot night for our team, but it was a great one. We swept qualifying, heat race action, and the feature. It was also a great test session for their $50,000-to-win race in September,†Stevens said. “A big thank you goes out to everyone, who helps us on this program.â€
Tyler Stevens broke out the broom on Saturday night at Chatham Speedway (Chatham, Louisiana) in the facility’s Dixie 25. With 32 Crate Late Model entries on hand for program, Tyler set fast time in qualifications, won his heat race, and led every lap of the main event to pocket the $2,500 top prize.
He was followed across the finish line by Jon Mitchell, Shane Stevens, Tanner Kellick, and Cliff Williams.
The triumph marked Stevens sixth of the year. His impressive win tally has come in just nine starts this season.
