Austin Horton Dominates Senoia’s Limited Throw Down

NEWNAN, Ga. (10/19/22) – Austin Horton dominated Saturday night’s David Castile Limited Throw Down at Senoia Raceway in his Franklin Enterprises / Orr’s Towing No. 16 XR1 Rocket Chassis Limited Late Model.
He made a clean sweep of the night for his sixth win of the season, which was worth $2,200.
“It was a great night for our team and with a couple of big weekends of racing still on the horizon at Senoia (Raceway) this year, gives us a little extra confidence. We’ve been fast all year there, and we’ll head back this weekend and go after a couple of more wins,†Horton said. “Thank you to my family and everyone who supports this team and keeps us going in circles.â€
On Saturday afternoon, Austin Horton made the short trip to Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) to compete in the Limited Late Model ranks for the David Castile Limited Throw Down.
Dominating from the second he unloaded, Austin followed up the fastest lap in time trials with a flag-to-flag victory in the 30-lap feature. His sixth win of the 2022 campaign was worth $2,200 and came by 2.028 seconds over his closest pursuer.
He was followed across the finish line by Michael Page, Cody Haskins, Rucker Orr, and Braxtin Barber.

Horton will return to the Georgia oval this Friday and Saturday for the Pollard Memorial. He'll compete in both the 604 Crate Late Model division and the Limited Late Model ranks.
