Conley’s Claim Top Tens at Atomic; Rod Conley Set to Invade Lawrenceburg Tonight
(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) The Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) teams were in action at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio last Saturday evening, May 10. The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series presided over a $5,000 to win throwdown and 31 competitors were in the pit area. R.J. Conley ran second in his heat race before starting the 30-lap main event from the inside of the second row. The Wheelersburg, Ohio ace then ran as high as second during the feature before winding up third at the checkered flag behind only victor Josh Rice and runner-up Colten Burdette!
His brother Rod Conley placed fifth in his heat race prior to securing a triumph in his B-Main. "Hot Rod" then picked off eight competitors during the course of the 30-lapper to land in the ninth finishing position. With R.J. Conley slated to enjoy this weekend off from racing action, Rod Conley will be the lone CMI driver in competition on Saturday, May 17. The #71R team will invade Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana for tonight’s Northern All Stars Late Model Series program.
