Dennis Erb Racing Hits Road with DIRTcar Summer Nationals Tour this Week
(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) Fresh off competing in the 31st Annual ‘Dirt Late Model Dream’ at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio last week, Dennis Erb Racing will hit the road this week in the Land of Lincoln on the DIRTcar Summer Nationals tour. With the World of Outlaws Late Model Series sitting idle, Dennis Erb, Jr. will take advantage of the opportunity to compete in the first full week of the “Hell Tour.” The monthlong cavalcade of speed gets underway later tonight, June 10 at the Brownstown Bullring in Brownstown, Illinois.
Following the $5,000 to win throwdown later this evening at Brownstown, Dennis will vie for additional $5,000 top prizes on Wednesday at Kankakee County Speedway in Kankakee, Illinois, on Thursday at Peoria Speedway in Peoria, Illinois, and on Sunday at Sycamore Speedway in Maple Park, Illinois. A pair of $10,000 paydays are also up for grabs on Friday at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois and on Saturday at Fairbury Speedway in downtown Fairbury, Illinois.
The Carpentersville, Illinois ace is a three-time DIRTcar Summer Nationals Champion (2007, 2008, and 2009) and currently sits ninth on the all-time wins list. Dennis is the proud owner of twenty-five career “Hell Tour” victories.
