Dennis Erb, Jr. Lands on Podium at Brownstown Bullring; Jackson 100 Weekend Ahead
(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) The lone event of last weekend for the Dennis Erb Racing team took place on Friday night, September 19 at the Brownstown Bullring in Brownstown, Illinois. The MARS Late Model Championship Series presided over the 'Brownstown 100,' which paid out a $10,000 first place prize.
Dennis Erb, Jr. timed in seventeenth quickest overall during the qualifying session prior to advancing to finish fourth in his heat race. Dennis then picked off eight competitors during the 50-lap headliner to land on the podium in third behind only victor Tanner English and runner-up Jason Feger! Another weekend, a different Brownstown for the #28 team. This time, Dennis will do battle at the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana on September 26-27. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series rolls into the 1/4-mile, semi-banked oval this weekend to preside over a pair of lucrative events.
Up first will be the ‘C.J. Rayburn Memorial’ and a $10,000 winner’s check will be up for grabs later tonight. The doubleheader will then wrap up on Saturday evening with the 46th edition of the famed ‘Jackson 100.’ The 100-lap headliner tomorrow night will once again boast a whopping $50,000 top prize.
