Jay Di ckens Racing Engines Customers Burn Up Special Events
Aberdeen, MS (09/21/11) – As the late season special events begin to heat up around the country, Jay D ickens Racing Engines (JDRE) customers are claiming several big wins and championships.
Super Late Model newcomer, Kent Robinson from Bloomington, Indiana, drove his #7 Mastersbilt/Jay Di ckens Super Late Model to his first career Super Late Model win on Saturday night in the $2,000-to-win, 7th Annual Hall of Fame Classic at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana).
Bryan Barber of Greensburg, Kentucky claimed a pair of feature wins with the American Modified Series over the weekend with triumphs at Moler Raceway Park (Williamsburg, Ohio) and Bluegrass Speedway (Bardstown, Kentucky) in his #10 Bandit/JDRE-powered Open Wheel Modified. With the wins he claimed the 2011 American Modified Series Championship, while Jay Di ckens Racing Engines also claimed the Engine Builders title for the tour.
Ray Moore from Haughton, Louisiana became the first driver to ever win back-to-back U.S. National Dirt Track Championships as he conquered a field of 34 cars to claim the win in the $3,500-to-win event at the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track (Justin, Texas) on Saturday night. The win was his eleventh of the 2011 season in his #93 MB2 Customs/Jay Dic kens Racing Engine Super Late Model.
Scott James found his way to victory lane once again in his #81 Rocket/JDRE entry at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) on Saturday night. The win was worth $2,000.
Michigan driver, Curt Spalding, also put his Jay Dic kens-powered Super Late Model in victory lane once again over the weekend as well.
