April 14th saw John Anderson overcome a stout field of competitors and challenging, track conditions to claim the $3,000 winner's check in Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) Late Model Series action at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) in this #2 Shop Quik Racing/Mastersbilt/JDRE-powered entry.
April 28th was a historic night for Bub McCool as claimed the biggest win of his career by topping the World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model feature event at Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee). By the time he left the payout window he had received close to $13,000 in winnings for his performance in his #57J McCool Logging/Victory Circle by Moyer/Jay D ickens Racing Engine Super Late Model. The win was his second of the season, and he continues to lead the WoO Rookie of the Year points.
On April 27th Edinburgh, Indiana's Chad Stapleton scored his third win of the year in his #32 Rocket/Jay D ickens Racing Engine Super Late Model with a feature triumph at Moler Raceway Park (Williamsburg, Ohio).
Don O'Neal conquered a stellar field of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) competitors on May 4th at Tri City Speedway (Pontoon Beach, Illinois) to claim the $10,000 payday in his #71 Mastersbilt/Jay D ickens Racing Engine Super Late Model. The win was his seventh triumph of 2012.
