Conley’s Finish in Top Six at Portsmouth Raceway Park; Holiday Double-Dip Next
(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) All three Conley Motorsports, Inc. drivers were in action on Saturday, August 25 at the nearby Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio. R.J. Conley qualified well and later ran second in the dash to earn the outside front row starting spot for the $2,000 to win feature event. Delmas and Rod Conley both won their respective heat races to gain access into the A-Main. Following the completion of the race, "Hot Rod" found himself in the fourth spot behind only winner Jackie Boggs, Josh McGuire, and Nick Bocook. R.J. was right behind his brother in the fifth position, while Delmas notched a sixth place performance. Full results from PRP can be viewed online at www.portsraceway.com.
Next up for the Conley Motorsports, Inc. teams will be a trip back to the Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio on August 31 and September 1 for a huge Labor Day weekend doubleheader. An unsanctioned $7,000 to win showdown will kick things off on Friday night at PRP, while the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will roll into town on Saturday evening. A $10,000 top prize will be on the line to close out the double-dip on Saturday. Additional information about the ‘River Days Rumble’ weekend can be accessed by clicking on www.portsraceway.com.
