FUEL Gains Momentum At CARS, Releases New Website

(Concord, NC) After weeks of research and work, the new FUEL Racing Series had a very successful exhibition this past weekend at the Charlotte Auto Racing Show (CARS) as several tracks and drivers confirmed their support of the region's first CT525 late model series! Realizing that racers need the stability of a tour schedule to pledge their support, FUEL was able to land confirmations from 8 different race tracks thanks to the generosity and vision of local and regional promoters."We are thankful for the continuous growth of support we have experienced to this point", stated Series Director Jason Atkins. "It is no secret that in order for FUEL to be successful, we need both the racers and tracks to share our vision. Our schedule is approximately 75% complete at this time and I couldn't be happier for everyone involved in making this happen. Once we return from the PRI show in Indianapolis this weekend, we will press forward in finalizing our 2014 touring schedule for our partnering tracks and racers. In addition, we are pleased to release our brand new website. Thanks to the creative efforts of Thomas Clarke Performance, followers can now visit us (fuelracingseries.com) online. The site gives viewers a detailed look at the series partners, tracks, rules, and other related information.Tracks that have committed to hosting a 2014 FUEL event(s) are 311 Speedway, Carolina Speedway, Cherokee Speedway, Friendship Speedway, Harris Speedway, Lancaster Speedway, Laurens Speedway, and Wythe Raceway. Other tracks are also considering a FUEL event as we speak. Should those turned into confirmed race dates, we will update the schedule accordingly. For the latest information regarding the FUEL Racing Series you can visit the website, find us on Facebook, and follow us on Twitter (FUEL525SERIES). Partners of the FUEL Racing Series include City Chevrolet Performance Parts, Mega Plumbing of the Carolinas, Kenny Lamb Racing Engines, Flag To Flag, and Thomas Clarke Performance.
