Kyle Beard Wins at the Ridge; Topless 100 Next
Ripley, Tennessee (08/12/14) – Kyle Beard increased his 2014 win tally to three on Saturday night with a Super Late Model victory at Crowley's Ridge Raceway (Paragould, Arkansas) in his #86 Upton Motorsports/Gary Beard Trucking/Bob Pierce/Jay D ickens Racing Engine Super Late Model.
Looking to use the event as a tune-up for the upcoming COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) event at the facility Beard made the short trek to the tight bullring for a Weekly Racing Series Event. Twenty Super Late Models entered the program at the 1/4 mile oval, and after charging to a heat race win Beard drew the third starting spot for the finale. In the feature Beard quickly worked his way to the lead and charged to the victory over Johnny Cook, Jamie West, Mike Cochran, and Barry Bode.
"Crowley's Ridge Raceway is really a cool little track, and I'm looking forward to returning in a few weeks for the $3,000-to-win event with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series," said Beard.

This weekend Kyle will chase the biggest win of his career, when he enters the $40,000-to-win, 22nd Annual COMP Cams Topless 100 at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas). The current CCSDS point leader will lead the series charge into the event, which will also be sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS).
