Delmas Conley Leads 1-2-3 Podium Sweep for Conley’s in Bob Crace, Sr. Memorial!
(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer Delmas Conley claimed his third feature victory of the 2015 campaign at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio on Saturday evening, May 9 in the 'Bob Crace, Sr. Memorial!' Delmas won the dash in preliminary action and later led all thirty circuits in the main event to bag the $3,023 top prize. R.J. Conley set Fast Time during qualifying, finished sixth in the dash after slapping the wall, and later climbed up to second in the unsanctioned headliner. Rod Conley completed the Conley sweep of the podium, as he ran fifth in the dash and third in the 30-lapper.
A day earlier, R.J. made his first-ever visit to Willard Speedway in Willard, Kentucky on Friday night, May 8 for the unsanctioned 'Cabin Fever 50.' The Wheelersburg, Ohio standout qualified fourth fastest in time trials, ran second in his heat race, and later led several laps during the $5,000 to win feature event. This upcoming weekend (May 15-16) will see the Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) teams in action at Southern Ohio Speedway in Wheelersburg, Ohio and Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio. Delmas, Rod, and R.J. Conley plan to be in attendance tomorrow night at SOS, as the ‘Buckeye 25’ boasts a $3,000 payday. J.T. Conley will then join the other three CMI drivers on Saturday evening at Atomic where a $2,000 winner’s check will be on the line in a regular weekly program.
