Kinzer Motorsports Prepares for Lucrative 4th of July Doubleheader Weekend
(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) The Kinzer Motorsports team trekked north to Atomic Speedway near Alma, Ohio for the 'Night the Stars Come Out' program on Wednesday evening, June 24. Brandon Kinzer knocked down the third fastest lap in his group during time trials, but later wound up sixth in his heat race following a dustup on the backstretch with Duane Chamberlain. After a triumph in the B-Main, Brandon was able to move forward past a few cars during the $4,000 to win headliner. At the conclusion of the unsanctioned 30-lapper, BK found himself credited with a thirteenth place effort at the Buckeye State oval. Brandon and the #18 team will enjoy the upcoming June 26-27 weekend off from racing action, but will be busy over the upcoming 4th of July holiday weekend. On Thursday night, July 2, the nearby 201 Speedway in Sitka, Kentucky will greet the cars and stars of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. The inaugural running of the ‘Bob Miller Memorial’ will boast a $10,000 top prize. On Saturday, July 4, the inaugural ‘Born Free 40’ will take place at the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana, as a $5,000 winner’s check will be on the line in the unsanctioned special.
