Mike Benedum Bags First Win of 2015
Salem, West Virginia (08/11/15) - Mike Benedum finally shook the monkey from his back on Saturday evening and parked his #25 BSI Well Service/Longhorn/Durham Racing Engine Super Late Model in victory lane for the first time with a triumph in AMRA action at Ohio Valley Speedway.
On Saturday night Mike Benedum made the trip to Ohio Valley Speedway (Lubeck, West Virginia) for the American Motor Racing Association (AMRA) event. With twenty cars taking part in the event Benedum scored a heat race victory, transferring him into the A-Main. In the finale Benedum captured his first feature victory of the season with Butch McGill, Josh Hall, Colten Burdette, and Larry Clark rounding out the top five.
“This year has been an uphill battle, so it feels fantastic to finally get our first win,†said Benedum. “Hopefully with the first one out of the way, the rest will come much easier.â€
