Jason Krohn Tames Cedar Lake for the First Time
Slayton, Minnesota (08/08/16) – Jason Krohn achieved a first in his career over the weekend by powering his Krohn Farms #7k MB Customs/ Sput’s Racing Engine Late Model to a feature win at Cedar Lake Speedway. The victory was his first ever at the famed, 3/8-mile oval.
Running in the NASCAR Late Model division, Jason Krohn visited Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, Wisconsin) on Friday night for the two-day special event. Aboard the Krohn Farms #7k Late Model, Jason won his heat race before reeling in his third win of the season in the feature after overcoming a spirited battled with Jimmy Mars. Darrell Nelson, Jake Redetzke, and A.J. Diemel rounded out the Top 5. The victory was worth $2,500.
On Saturday night Krohn captured a runner-up finish in the $3,000-to-win, A-Main behind Jimmy Mars with A.J. Diemel, Jake Redetzke, and Darrell Nelson rounding out the Top 5.
“We truly had a tremendous weekend,†Krohn said with his signature smile. “There were over 30 cars in action both nights, and there are just so many tough drivers here. To finally get my first win at Cedar Lake Speedway is really cool. Even better I had a great time this weekend with a lot of great friends.

Jason is tentatively scheduled to next return to action on Friday, August 19 with a trip to Lakeside Speedway (Kansas City, Kansas), where he will compete in the inaugural Grant Junghans Memorial. An ever-growing purse is in place for the event as the total payout for the one-night affair now exceeds $100,000.
