Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series competitor, track owner and series promoter Ray Cook of Brasstown, NC joined Dirt Cast to talk about his 2011 season, finishing ninth in points, feeling like he overall he had a good year but left something on the table in Lucas Oil series competition, how tough the series has become, his first year as a promoter at Tri County Speedway, the response from fans and competitors, his Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals, fielding requests to turn it into a longer series and his plans for 2012. Cook drives the #53 D&R Motorsports Mastersbilt.
