We had a great time filming at 411 Motor Speedway , we Thank Mitch & Tanya McCarter for allowing us to be there at there wonderful Track in 2014, what a great place , how often do you see track owners listen to there fans and drivers to provide the best races possible.
We did not commit to filming at Kingsport Speedway in 2015 , yet when we ask if we could film some of there races , they were very welcoming to use , another group of owners who listen and provide great racing in the east Tn region. We enjoyed our time there , even got some footage on TV in there region a couple of times there. You know I love to see my stuff on TV.
After the Nov race at 411 , Tammy and I sat down , looked over everything , Time spent , Money Spent , Money made. Time was the Big issue , There were several times we wanted to do stuff for us , vacation in the summer weather to visit family , a week just cant be done from here to Texas , or just a weekend trip to a event we wanted to see like Eldora or do something different than a race. We committed to be at every race 411 held and we did that and had fun doing it , but we are not as young as we once were and we have other interest at this age. Racing is still #1 , but we have other interest also.
We waited to see what tracks schedules would be like in 2015 , knowing we did not want to commit to 1 track with a long schedule again , we seen 2 tracks schedules in the area that fit the way we want to film , Looked at both schedules , realized one tracks schedule would be covered by Dirt On Dirt a bunch , and we realizing we cant compete with those DOD guys. One choice was left , we contacted them and will be filming at Volunteer Speedway in 2015 , they have a wide variety of events , Sprint Cars , Supers , Limited , Modified Hobby. We are looking forward to our return to the fastest track on the planet and the extra time we will have to spend with each other.
I know the internet gossip can spread quickly , but the truth is written here , we are not leaving 411 or Kingsport for no other reason than one's described , if you feel you need to stir up drama to please yourself , go ahead and please yourself with lies , but as far as the McCarters and Karen Tunnell are concerned with us , Great People and we loved filming at there Race Tracks in 2014 and hope to visit both in 2015.
