PRO Dirt Car Series To Host Double Header at North Alabama
Columbus, Mississippi (04/2811) – The P.R.O. Dirt Car Series Super Late Model tour will officially open its 2011 season this weekend, April 29th-30th, with a double header at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama). Separate $2,000 to win Super Late Model shows will be held each night with a full complement of local division racing.
Saturday night's program was originally slated for Moulton Speedway, but power outages in that area and uncertainty of when it will be back on forced officials to move both events to North Alabama Speedway.
The weekend opens on Friday, April 29th at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama) with a $2,000 to win/$150 to start event at the racy, 1/4 mile oval. Joining the Super Late Models on the card will be Late Model Stocks ($500 To Win), Modified Street ($250 To Win), and Mini Stocks ($250 To Win). The driver's meeting is at 7:15pm with racing action at 8:00pm. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults with kids 12 & under free.
