Lucas Oil at Smoky Mountain Speedway postponed

Tonight's Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series race at Smoky Mountain Speedway has been postponed. Almost 3" of rain fell last night causing a big mess on both the racetrack and in the pits. Track crews evaluated the situation and began work to determine if everything would be ready for tonight. The determination was made to call off tonight's race. Series and track officials are looking to see if a suitable make up date can be found. Look for an announcement on that decision within the next couple of days.

The next scheduled race for Smoky Mountain Speedway is the Southern Nationals presented by Sunoco and Tennessee RV on Friday, July 27 for a $5,300 to win race.
