Track Officials have decided to cancel this Friday's races. With the hottest weather forcasted for the Ringgold/Chattanooga area in recent history. Gar (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)son states that its not healthy to ask employees, fans and racers alike to work and watch in condition so extreme. With temperatures forcasted around 103 degrees it would be better to cancel/postpone until a later date than to risk anyones health. With a strickly regulated curfew we are unable to start later as the weather cools in the evening and still give time to complete a full racing program Please keep watch on upcoming events on the Boyd Speedway website. Track officials would to thank everyone for the continued support and hope everyone understands its reasoning for cancelling.
