On the weekend of June 20-21, my son and I attended the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series races at the Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, SC and the Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, VA. During our travels between those two locations, we were allowed to visit the racing shop of Team Dillon Racing on the grounds of Richard Childress Racing in Welcome, NC.
Dale, Shane and Sarah McDowell were very generous hosts during our visit.
