COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Announces New and Returning Sponsors for 2014

Beebe, Arkansas (03/31/14) – With less than five days remaining until the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil lifts the lid on the 2014 season the tour is proud to announce its list of new and returning nightly sponsors.

Heat race action will find GRT Race Cars (Greenbrier, Arkansas) once again sponsoring the first heat each night. The company also will sponsor an end of the year award that will reward the driver with the most heat race wins on the tour with $50 per triumph. Allen Manufacturing (Newport, Arkansas) will sponsor the second heat race each night with ROCKHARD Powdercoat (Batesville, Arkansas) sponsoring the third heat race. The fourth heat race will be sponsored by Woodco, Inc. (Floral, Arkansas).

Boston's Sports Bar & Restaurant returns as the title sponsor of the evening's consolation events.

New Vision Graphics, based in Batesville, Arkansas, has returned to sponsor the nightly New Vision Graphics Pole Award, and the pole sitter will receive a $100 bonus courtesy of the company. Larry Shaw Race Cars from Batesville, Arkansas has returned to sponsor the nightly Larry Shaw Race Cars Hard Charger Award in the amount of $100. The tour welcomes Arkadelphia, Arkansas-based, Keith Craft Racing Engines to the tour for the first time as a $100 sponsor of the nightly Hard Luck Award.

As outlined earlier this year the Kuntz & Co. Rookie of the Year competition is back bigger and better than ever in 2014 with the winner receiving $1,500, while second and third will receive $750 and $250 respectively at the end of the season.

"Our series is obviously led by sponsorship from COMP Cams and Lucas Oil Products, and the great support from these companies allow us to exist," notes series CEO, Ellis. "However, without all of these great principal and associate marketing partners our racers would be racing for a lot less money and prizes. I can't thank everyone enough for their support!"

Associate sponsors for 2014 include Hoosier Tires, Beech Vet Clinic (new sponsor), Stallion Transportation Group, Samson Racing Communications, and Mark Martin KIA.

The CCSDS presented by Lucas Oil warriors will embark on their 2014 season on April 5th and 6th as the tour co-sanctions a pair of events for the first time ever with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS). On Saturday, April 5th Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana) will host a $10,000-to-win show, while Sunday April 6th will see the CCSDS presented by Lucas Oil being a part of an event for the first time ever at Outlaw Motor Speedway (Muskogee, Oklahoma) as another $10,000-to-win slate is held.
