Prior to the start of the third sprint car heat race heavy rains moved into the area flooding the track and infield. Once the rain stopped, and time was given to allow water to drain from the racing surface, the track prep crew put great effort into getting the track back to a race ready condition. Unfortunately, just prior to racing commencing more storms moved into the area containing a great deal of lightning, forcing cancellation of this racing event.
Since heat races were not completed in any classes, only show points will be awarded to drivers that were signed in to compete.
All pit pass and general admission armbands issued for this event will be honored until the end of the 2017 season. In the event that race is of higher value, you may pay the difference while redeeming your rain out admission.
