FASTRAK SE & MOV Touring Points Set to Go Down to The Wire
CARNESVILLE, Georgia (8/29)2016)- As the FASTRAK Racing Series 2016 campaign begins to wind down, both the FASTRAK Southeast Touring Series and the FASTRAK Mid-Ohio Touring Division points battles look set to go down to the last event on both schedules.
In 2016, 116 drivers have taken the green flag in FASTRAK Mid-Ohio Valley Touring Division events Ryan Montgomery of Fairmont, WV is currently atop the FASTRAK Mid-Ohio Valley point standings just four points ahead of David Smith of Inman. Chris Steele of York, SC is close behind with North Augusta, SC’s Cla Knight in fourth. Benji Hicks of Mt. Airy, NC rounds out the top-5.
The FASTRAK Southeast Touring Series has seen 100 competitors compete in 2016. Currently Smith leads Knight in Southeast Touring Series points with Steele sitting third. Colby Cannon of Toccoa, GA is fourth and Jimmy Mac of Denver, NC is fifth.
As both series come together over Labor Day Weekend for the three event $41,000 FASTRAK “East Coast Rumble†both points battles could well see shuffles amongst the Top-10
