602 and 604 Late Models Will Be in Action Both Nights of Winter Freeze XV
Sylvania, Georgia (January 27, 2025) – Drivers in both the 602 Bandit Series and 604 Crate Late Models will have the opportunity to vie for $1500 to win each night of the Yurezz Home Center / Yess First Insurance Winter Freeze XV presented by Vidalia Motorsports and Supply Chain Management. The 14th edition of Screven Motor Speedway’s staple event is set for February 6-8 and features racing in 7 exciting divisions including the $21,000 to win SCDRA feature and the debut events of the all-new Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series Super Late Models.
The 602 Bandit Series kicks off it’s 5th season with a pair of $1500 to win events on February 7th and 8th. Each of the 20 lap features will pay $150 to start in the 24-car field. In 2024 Screven saw 4 different winners in 5 602 Bandit events. Ches Chester took 2 victories while Luke Cooper, Kenny Collins and Wyatt Coffey all had 1 each. Sylvania, Georgia’s Bo Smith was the 2024 602 Bandit Series Champion. Information on rules and answers to technical questions can found at www.602bandits.com
604 Late Models will also be in action both nights of Winter Freeze. The 604 cars will run under the auspices of Crate Racin’ USA’s rulebook. The 604 Late Models made a return to action at Screven at the end of 2024 with young up and comer Gavin Cowan picking up the win. For rules and specifications visit www.crateracinusa.com The 604 Late Models will chase a $1500 winner’s purse each night and each feature will be $150 to start in a 24-car field.
On Saturday, February 8th Pit Gates will open at 9 AM and the Grandstand Gates will open at 2 PM. The Drivers Meeting is set for 4:30 PM with Hot Laps starting at 5 PM. It’s a complete show for Harco Construction Southern Thunder Supers, 602 Bandits, 604 CRUSA Late Models and Cop Stocks. Also on the card are the SCDRA B-Main, Non-Qualifier and Feature along with the Davis Tire Factory Stock and Street Stock Features. Saturday Tickets are Pit Passes $40 for adults and $20 for Kids 6 and under. Grandstands tickets are $30 for Adults with Children 12 and under FREE.
