Trever Feathers scores ULTIMATE Northeast Season Opener victory at Hagerstown
HAGERSTOWN, MD - The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Northeast Region kicked off its inaugural 2018 season Saturday March 31st at Hagerstown Speedway located in Hagerstown, Maryland for a $4,000 to win event. 29 competitors singed into Saturdays event. Starting from the outside front row Trever Feathers of Winchester, Virginia took the lead from pole sitter Matt Cosner at the start for the 30 lap event and went on to take home the Northeast Ultimate Super Late Model Series victory. Matt Cosner, Kenny Moreland, Mason Ziegler, and Jason Covert rounded out the top five finishers. Dale Hollidge set fast time in qualifying with a time of 20.372 seconds. Heat race winners included Matt Cosner, Jared Miley, Trever Feathers, and Kenny Moreland. Consolation race winner was Ryan Montgomery.
After event one the current top 10 in our Ultimate Super Late Model Series Northeast Region 2018 point standings are as follows: Trever Feathers (35), Matt Cosner (34), Kenny Moreland (33), Mason Ziegler (32), Jason Covert (31), Marvin Winters (30), Jared Miley (29), Dale Hollidge (28), Kyle Lee (27), and Jason Miller (26).
The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Northeast Region will be back in action again on Saturday April 7th as the Series will travel to Middlebourne, West Virginia to Tyler County Speedway for a $5,000 to win event.
