CHRIS FERGUSON SCORES "GEORGIA STATE OUTLAW CHAMPIONSHIP" ULTIMATE SOUTHEAST VICTORY AT SCREVEN, ZACK MITCHELL CAPTURES 2019 ULTIMATE SOUTHEAST CHAMPIONSHIP
SYLVANIA, GA – The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region traveled to Screven Motor Speedway located in Sylvania, Georgia on Friday November 22nd for the final event of the 2019 race season for the Ultimate Southeast Tour. The event was a part of the "20th Annual Georgia State Outlaw Championship".
Chris Ferguson of Mount Holly, North Carolina took the lead on lap 35 and was able to hold of Zack Mitchell to score the Ultimate Southeast Tour victory Friday at Screven Motor Speedway worth $5,000. Zack Mitchell, Jeff Smith, Cla Knight, and Kyle Hardy rounded out the top five finishers. Zack Mitchell set fast time in qualifying with a time of 15.842 seconds to earn the Davis Diesel Service Fast Qualifier award.
As the 2019 Ultimate Southeast season concluded defending Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region Champion Zack Mitchell of Enroee, South Carolina captured his second series championship. Daulton Wilson of Fayetteville, North Carolina was named the 2019 DirtonDirt.com Rookie of the Year presented by Cruise with the Champions with the Ultimate Southeast Tour.
