Not making predictions but I think he needs a WoO championship now in the current state of LM racing compared to the last one 16 yrs ago. That's why I'm surprised he hasn't gave it a run the last few yrs regardless of the other off the track issues with WRG/WoO.
If I heard him correct he said Bloomer was gonna run select races and not the WOO tour.

Just saying the shift to WoO is more the industry changing part than the sponsorship.....

What have I missed here? I only know of 5 WoO drivers Shepp, Lanigan, Weiss, Madden, Bloomer... WoO still has to make some adds to have what Lucas has going on with talent and shear numbers.

It's definitely shifted to a more level playing field

I think eldora increasing the payouts last year was bigger news than this..... half of you, even the OP, already knew this was coming. I gotta believe there is something else coming, right? something big?

The last big news that I remember in this sport was the Goodyear thing and that was back in late 2003.lol I can't really think of much news over the last 10 years. This news today might be.

Maybe since race season is "over" Rigsby thought it was already 2020 and a new decade... because I do think this could have been the biggest announcement of the 20's so far, lol.

Is Madden not going to be driving his own Bloomquist cars with the #44 on them? Is he just going to be driving for SBR?

That "big news" was a giant letdown. I guess we're supposed to make a big deal out of drivers getting sponsors now?
