So reading over on Hoseheads, it looks like Dirt Monthly has officially closed down with nearly a peep from the former owners. Former editor of Flat Out, Justin Zoch, and later a contributor for Dirt Monthly, along with Adam Cornell, are starting up a new magazine called Dirt Empire which will be published eight times a year. They plan to cover most of what Dirt Monthly previously attempted to cover, in Dirt Late Models, Sprint Cars and Modifieds. I wish them luck as there is definitely a need for a publication covering Dirt Late Models in my opinion.
