That drug testing stuff is so stupid. Can't have a trace of THC in your system but you could get hammered the night before and not enough sleep and you're ok. There was a second video shot from a different angle that only the people involved in the case saw that shows that the kid Stewart hit did indeed run into traffic and the levels of weed in his system were consistent with him being high at the time.

He was at the peak of his rotator cuff injury. The night before he said the pain was unbearable during the feature and the following night was worse regarding track conditions. Scott knew he had to get surgery and would be out anyway + he doesn't race WoO.

Only way you get hit on the track is by being ON THE TRACK and NOT in the car where you're supposed to be. Now IF a car is on fire and you get out, that's different. His accident was a fairly minor one. He made a fatal mistake by getting out and running out on a poorly lit track in a dark suit. Nobody to blame but the guy that got hit. Tony never saw him until way too late. Just a bad deal.
