2015 ULTIMATE Series Championship Cash Payout Increased to $20,000 to Win
Shelby, North Carolina (February 21, 2015) – During his comments during the 2014 ULTIMATE Series Championship Banquet, Stan Lester made the announcement just before the awards ceremony began that the ULTIMATE Series Championship was now going to pay $20,000 to the 2015 Champion. “This is our surprise for the evening. In 2015 the ULTIMATE title will pay $20,000 to win. We have been paying the $15,000 since we started and it’s just time. This is our fifth season of operation and the series has continued to grow. You guys deserve this. The success that we are enjoying is because you guys are going out and racing hard and giving the promoters and fans great shows. So we want to reward you for what you have done.†said Lester the CEO and Founder of FASTRAK Companies International which is the parent company of the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series.
“What a great piece of news for our racers. Stan has really stepped up to the plate for all of us with the ULTIMATE Series and we couldn’t be happier. This has been a great off-season for us. We have been able to get our schedule done very early on so we could place our focus on fine tuning other areas of the series, particularly in sponsorship and promotions.†stated ULTIMATE Series Director Kelley Carlton. “That schedule requires so much attention and time. It was truly a blessing to have it nailed down before the 2014 season had even ended. We have certainly made some minor tweaks to it since then but the majority of the work was done. The ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series made its debut in 2011 with 13 events at 8 different tracks and has steadily grown each year. For 2015 the ULTIMATE Super Late Models are scheduled for 28 events at 18 different race tracks. “That is pretty neat for me. It has been a long time since booking races was this easy to do. I actually had to turn away a couple of tracks because I could not find a quality date for them. Scheduling quality dates for our promoters and teams is one of the things that we work really hard on. If we don’t think something will work we won’t book it just for the sake of having another race. It’s a quality over quantity ideal.†added Carlton.
The ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series will also be announcing new and returning sponsors over the next several days leading up the season opening weekend at North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Georgia on March 7th and Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, Georgia on March 8th.
